Refurbish for sensory room at Presentation Primary’s
Autistic Unit in Fermoy

Paul O’Neil, his family and friends all helped to raise funds for the refurbishment of the sensory room at Presentation, by running in the Cork Marathon on the 1 of June.
The weather was difficult, but ‘they just kept going’ said Paul, whose son starts in one of the Early Intervention class’s (preschool) in September this year.
Paul’s wife Deddie spent many hours in collecting the funds and they both wish to thank the fantastic generosity of all those people who donated both time and money.
There are two Early Intervention classes and two classes for older children who present with autism. All children have regular access to the sensory room for time to chill out and to work on sensory issues.
Other children throughout the school can also benefit from the calming effects that the school hopes the revamped sensory room will generate.
All enquiries about the Autistic Unit or School welcome on 025 31550
