Mission Statement

Presentation Primary School
Fermoy
Roll No. 17868O

The Presentation School is a Christian Community and a centre of formation. As such we seek to:-
1 enable the children to become aware of their own personal worth and dignity, and to invite them to share in building a community where mutual respect and care for others prevail;
2 share the Christian vision of life with others;
3 care for the poor and disadvantaged;
4 (a) provide our students with education for life and living by encouraging them to participate as fully as possible in an academic programme which is child-centred in orientation.
(b) enable each child to develop his/her talents to the fullest, thereby achieving his/her potential.
5 foster good relationships between parents and teachers. Promote opportunities for parents to take a meaningful role in the education of their children.
6 create an environment that provides security and warmth in relationships, that enables pupils to relate and work in responsible imaginative ways, both independently and as a member of a group or team.
7 We will encourage children to:-
(a) be caring towards each other and to show politeness and consideration at all times.
(b) value and appreciate friendship and the contribution others have to make.
(c) develop a sense of fair play and a sense of responsibility.
